I thought how the principle of 'The Emperors New Clothes' could apply to other publications apart from fashion magazines such as 'Lads mags': people are afraid to criticise because everyone else seems to think it is good. I chose 'Front' as my example because the issues feature 'Alt Girls' (girls which aren't traditionally featured in lads mags because they have tattoo's) who have illustrations on their skin sometimes including text which I thought was a playful take on Barbra Kruger's work mentioned earlier.
